SAMSUNG GALAXY S2 ' TEASER ' ON APPLE FANS

I have stumbled upon this video, and while it looks like it is a legit Samsung commercial, no Samsung official source has released it. Whether it is official or not, though, it is definitely something to have fun with for a minute (and 1 second).
The commercial pretty much touches on the stereotypes that characterize the typical iPhone fanboy. Check it out for some giggles, and sound off in the comments section. Would you wait in line for a Galaxy Nexus? If you are an iPhone user, let me know why you would prefer an iPhone 4S over a Samsung device (or any Android device, for that matter).

HAHA

How To: Change Your Ip In Less Then 1 Minute

1. Click on "Start" in the bottom left hand corner of screen
2. Click on "Run"
3. Type in "command" and hit ok

You should now be at an MSDOS prompt screen.

4. Type "ipconfig /release" just like that, and hit "enter"
5. Type "exit" and leave the prompt
6. Right-click on "Network Places" or "My Network Places" on your desktop.

You should now be on a screen with something titled "Local Area Connection", or something close to that, and, if you have a network hooked up, all of your other networks.

8. Right click on "Local Area Connection" and click "properties"
9. Double-click on the "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" from the list under the "General" tab
10. Click on "Use the following IP address" under the "General" tab
11. Create an IP address (It doesn't matter what it is. I just type 1 and 2 until i fill the area up).
12. Press "Tab" and it should automatically fill in the "Subnet Mask" section with default numbers.
13. Hit the "Ok" button here
14. Hit the "Ok" button again

You should now be back to the "Local Area Connection" screen.

15. Right-click back on "Local Area Connection" and go to properties again.
16. Go back to the "TCP/IP" settings
17. This time, select "Obtain an IP address automatically"
tongue.gif 18. Hit "Ok"
19. Hit "Ok" again
20. You now have a new IP address

With a little practice, you can easily get this process down to 15 seconds.

P.S:
This only changes your dynamic IP address, not your ISP/IP address. If you plan on hacking a website with this trick be extremely careful, because if they try a little, they can trace it back

Microsoft has a social network too: Socl, for socializing search

I’m a bit skeptical of the speculation that Tulalip, the social-leaning service Microsoft Research accidentally published this week at the URL socl.com, is the company’s foray into traditional social search or social networking. After all, Microsoft’s Bing has strong ties with Facebook, incorporating the social network into Bing search results, and already offers Twitter and Facebook search through bing.com/social.
Microsoft Research logo
But Tulalip, whatever it is, does seem to be centered around social networking in some way. According to screenshots (see below) from Fusible.com, which first spotted the landing page at socl.com Thursday before Microsoft took it down, Tulalip integrates with Facebook and Twitter, and has some sort of (non-operational) search box at the top.
The four letter domain socl.com would complement bing.com.” Tulalip could indeed be a search portal focused more on Facebook and Twitter results than your typical lines-of-text Web search – a social skin for Bing, if you will.
it feels familiar to Facebook and Google+, it's really a different kind of beast altogether.
Cutting to the good bits,  Socl is really about using Bing's sophisticated search and predictive algorithms as well as your friends' answers to answer your own search queries. The point is to get more refined searches that are likely more catered to your specific needs, instead of a general suggestion you'd get from regular Google or Bing.
As a secret research project, Socl lets you follow friends, post status updates or search query status updates, post notes on your feed, watch YouTube videos together and tag searches so you can keep tabs on topics you care about.
The downside is that Socl can't do "private messaging, replies @ people, and no private sharing options like Google+'s "Circles."
Like we've said before, the social network space is already super crowded. How people find time to manage their Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and LinkedIn networks is beyond me.  Microsoft is planning a public release via invites.
So who wants another social network fix? Anybody?

Software that I use

It takes far less time to perform a format and re-installation of Windows these days.  Instead, I’ve found that re-doing the list of the software tools that I currently have installed and then getting them setup actually takes up the the bulk of my time.  To ease things along, I’ve decided to make a list of the current software that I am actively using – loosely categorized into ApplicationsInternetMediaAntimalware and Utilities.

Applications
Internet
Media
Antimalware (Security software)
Utilities (Cloud)
  • SugarSync Manager - Keeps my documents in for real-time backup protection
  • RescueTime - Software to automatically monitor how you spend your time
Utilities (Runs in background)

Enabling the new facebook timeline under 5 minutes

1. Log into Facebook
2. Enable developer mode, if you haven’t already. To do this, type “developer” into the Facebook search box, click the first result (it should be an app made by Facebook with a few hundred thousand users), and add the app.
3. Jump into the developer app (if Facebook doesn’t put you there automatically, it should be in your left-hand tool bar)

4. Create a new app (don’t worry — you wont actually be submitting this for anyone else to see/use). Give your shiny new app any display name and namespace you see fit. Read through and agree to the Platform Privacy agreement. This is the step you need to be verified for.
5. Ensure you’re in your new app’s main settings screen. You should see your app’s name near the top of the page
6. Look for the “Open Graph” header, and click the “Get Started using open graph” link.
Create a test action for your app, like “read” a “book”, or “eat” a “sandwich”
7. This should drop you into an action type configuration page. Change a few of the default settings (I changed the past tense of “read” to “redd” — again, only you can see this unless you try and submit your application to the public directory), and click through all three pages of settings
8. Wait 2-3 minutes
9. Go back to your Facebook homescreen. An invite to try Timeline should be waiting at the top of the page
And you’re done! We’ve seen this work quite a few times now, so it should work without a hitch for just about anyone.
THANK ME LATER....

BackTrack is one of the best Linux distributions which is purely focused on penetration testing and is preloaded with several industry standard security and hacking tools like network analysers, wireless tools, fuzzers, crackers etc.. As like other Linux distributions BackTrack is also designed to boot and use from cd/dvd(called as live cd) but in some cases you may need to use BackTrack with your USB device. So in this post i will show you how to do it.
Even though BackTrack is designed to be used from live cd/dvd, it can also be used as a live USB drive. The process to make your live BackTrack USB drive is a piece of cake when you follow the 4 simple steps below.

Minimum Requirements:

  • BackTrack ISO file, If you don’t have the current latest version you can go downloadhere.
  • A software application called Unetbootin, It is free an you can download it from here.
  • Five minutes of your precious time.

Steps to be followed:

Step #1: Plug-in your USB drive.
Step #2: Start the application Unetbootin.
Step #3: Now select the radio button DiskImage and click browse to select your BackTrack ISO.
Step #4: On the below select your USB drive letter and click OK to create bootable BackTrack USB.
